Hi! I am back with another post. I have been thinking about this matter for quite a long time. It is hard to trust things are getting changed. Please don’t get confused. I am thinking about the mode of celebrating the festivals from earlier days to now.
Again I want to mention a single quote. It follows:
மாற்றம் ஒன்றே மாறாதது.
Changes is the only constant
How have the festive mode and the festival celebration changed over the years? Many might be thinking, no nothing has changed. But in my perspective, it has changed.
My thoughts are always around people and our day-to-day basis. But, everything has changed entirely. Earlier days, if any festival days are approaching from kids to adults in the home they start their preparation at least 15 days prior.
First, the planning would be to prepare ourselves to manage the financial needs of our family. Next will be the dishes preparation, buying new clothes, and inviting loved ones and the kids will be so eager to keep “Henna” in their hands. It was interesting.
I am overjoyed 😍 while thinking about my childhood festive mood.😍
But now, in a fast-growing technological growing world! Seriously we don’t have time to think and plan for festivals. Almost everyone relies on online purchases including me also. We do visit shops too. Even though we make online orders for dresses, accessories even sweets and savouries. Still, shops are so crowded. But in the olden days shops were not very crowded and also there were no online purchases.
Then how we are? It would be due to a lack of planning and preparation. Not only money is helping with planning and preparation. Money is important but if we could plan clearly and if we identify our needs exactly we can make it very smoother.
Seriously I want my olden days back. During festival days exchanging our love in the form of sweets with our loved ones gives immense pleasure and satisfaction.
But now things are always in handy and the love is missing due to something. But still, I don’t know what that something.
